
1) Anyone check out the Marc Cuban contraversy? Read/Write Web has a great rundown. Cuban takes on Web 2.0 as boring and broadband as far too slow to handle cool, interesting stuff. Fred Wilson’s response might be instructive as well. I just hope the angst and rant spurs on ever more social and usable web ideas and apps…oh….and of course faster broadband solutions.
2)Scoble explainswhy human search via Mahalo will take down more computer based algorithms like Google.
3) One of the blogs I enjoy reading for marketing, new media, and tech news is Marketing Conversation. Chris Abraham posted Beach 2.0, his summer reading list. Anybody have anything cool on their reading list blog or otherwise?
4) Twitter has a find & invite friend tab to make it FAR more social and helpful in finding friends.
5) Techcrunch detailed a movement called NoSo, thats a questioning of our 24/7 technology culture…or what they call the “always on” culture.Thoughts?(thanks to scorchez for the flickr photo)
