In Search of the Long Tail
Hey gang! I’m using Google keyword tool, right now and eventually will probably use the Google Webmaster tools as recommended by Matt Cutts. At the moment, I’m thinking about using Hittail, WordTracker, and some of the SEOBook tools. Long tail and
Search Metric Options:
Do you have any experience with these tools (particuarly the free ones)? Which are the best free options? Which free tool is the easiest and most efficient to use? What is the best way to find productive long tail keywords? What has the best, most useful, and actionable metrics? I’ve already asked Dave Barger and Chris Houchens. Well perhaps Jon Henshaw at Sitening has a suggestion. At the moment I’m thinking of going with a combination of Google analytics and Hittail, but I’m curious what you think and your experience…Thanks for all your help along my web journeys….

It has analysis tools, link campaign management tools (even a persona manager for social networks), an automated SERP tracker, a private SEO forum and a powerful report engine. We’re also working on some awesome new features (that I can’t talk about yet).
