That was often the misprouncing I got from substitute teachers in grade school, back around when the Little Mermaid first came out and hand-written attendance sheets made the ‘h’ look like an ‘L’
So, maybe there are a few classmates or teachers who remember me as Ariel. We’ll find out soon.
