How to create Bible verse(s) posters in Wordle

October 7, 2008 · Leave a Comment

First, select your favorite Bible verse from Bible Gateway. I choose the following selection from Psalmes in the NIV:

Psalm 40:3
He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.

Second, you will want to insert “~” where your spaces are to insure your sentences show up intact.
(Hint 2: I broke up my phrases so the final picture could look artistic, however this is still not perfect because the words show up out of order) Mine looked like this:

Psalm~40:3
He~put~a~new~song~in~my~mouth,
a~hymn~of praise~to~our~God. Many~will~see~and~fear and put~their~trust~in~the~Lord.

Third, you want to go to the Wordle.net website.

Fourth, you will want to click on “Create your own.”

Fifth, you want to paste your ~~~~ version of your Bible verse in the top box.

Sixth, now you can begin the trial and error process of creating your own verse.

What is your favorite memory verse? Do you have a solution to the random order of the words?
