7 most important lessons of social entrepreneurs

1) Importance of network and community

2) The importance of determining your unknowns and setting up feedback mechanisms (avoiding your black boxes)

3) The importance of process & replicable systems

4) The value of mentors

5) Deliver value, but sell based on what the customer will pay (there are exceptions here…and an at least attempt to determine the numeric value of your services as a unit of time or as a package–this makes sales easier)

6) Seize opportunity. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth

7) Face fears and walk through walls
