Dick,

There is a great amount of content dealing with "Christian business ethics" and "business as missions" which you can find on the right hand bar (use the gray pull down menu to find those resources) You will also find "Christian micro enterprise development" mentioned.

Also, all the content about social entrepreneurship is told from a Christian principle

So, yes there aren't a lot of Christian social businesses (or social innovation) talked about...but I think that's because its a new trend of sorts (and many that are out there don't specifically use the term "social entrepreneurship:)

Thanks for visiting.

Take care,
Nathan

I see "Christian Social Entrepenuership" in your title, but I can't seem to find anything on your blog in this regard.

Enlighten me.
Thanks

Hi Nathan - glad to see a Nashvillian with so many similar views to my own. I'm a fellow Christian with progressive political views who telecommutes from Murfreesboro as a trainer and consultant with a web analytics company. I'd love to get more plugged in with the Nashville digital community, and I'd really love to find more ways to professionally make a difference in the world beyond helping companies boost profits.

I've also recently gotten into Shane Claiborne. In fact, I shared one of his quotes with my son, who incorporated it into a song: www.drewmillermusic.com (in the 2nd verse of "Break Free")

It would be great to connect some time. Keep the great blog posts coming!

@ Kelly. Thats crazy to run into on here. Thats cool that you're into Shane Claiborne. You'll have to tell me how the research turns out. It would be fun to hear what you're up to these days. And of course, thanks for reading.

Well, Nathan, old buddy, how are you? I came across your blog while doing some follow-up research on Shane Claiborne, one of my new favorite authors. What a crazy way to find you! I'm thrilled that you're into many of the same issues/ideas as I am these days. I guess you're here in Nashville. . . let me know what you're up to!
