Top Graduate University Programs in Philosophy Ranked

The following rankings are based on the Philosophy Gourmet rankings of graduate programs in philosophy (It also called the Leiter report because it was organized by Brian Leiter). In addition, I think New York Universities division of graduate programs by department will likely also be helpful for potential graduate students in various philosophy disciplines (they call the Real Guide to Grad School). Finally, I would also bookmark PhDs.org (grad school rankings section) which can provide a customized rankings based on your criteria–it can provide another filter or criteria for examining programs. Also worth checking out are checking out the forums on College Confidential to ask questions and/or to ask questions of students in person on your campus tour:
