Best Biographies of Social Entrepreneurs and Innovators

There are a number of famous social entrepreneurs on the Acumen Fellows reading list:

Various social entrepreneur stories & articles. Dowser specifically focuses on stories–although generally not uber-famous social entrepreneurs:

Also, Fast Company has an occassional article.

Here are a couple of the bios that are available
Mohammed Yunus (a couple different books–such as Banker to the Poor)
Method Method, Eric Ryan, Adam Lowry, & Lucas Conley
Start Something that Matters, Blake Mokoskie (Tom Shoes)
Video from Bill Gates on TED (not a bio, but stories)
Paul Polak has two books: End of Poverty & Business Solutions to Poverty (they both tell essentially the same story)
Leaving Microsoft to Change the World, John Wood
Blue Sweater, Jacqueline Novogratz (her TED talks tell most of the story)
I would suggest an leader/inventor/entrepreneur–something like a Edison, Steve Jobs, or similar characters.
Bios of political leaders like Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr, etc..

The majority of the above are a little on the non-profit side.
